The service area has roughly 25,222 households and about 12,873 owner-occupied houses, which is a lot of garage doors getting opened and closed every day, and most of our calls fall into the same handful of categories: broken torsion springs, cables that have frayed or popped off the drum, rollers worn enough to jump the track, and openers that have stopped responding to the remote or the wall button.
We're in a cold-moderate climate band here, not a region with extreme winter freeze-thaw cycling, so we don't see the kind of foundation-slab heaving that cracks tracks the way you'd get further north. What we do see more often is weatherstripping that's worn through and springs that have simply reached the end of their cycle count, since a lot of the housing stock here is now old enough that original springs are due.
We don't do fencing, decks, or general handyman work, and we're not the people to call for a door that's cosmetically dented but still running fine - that's a job you can live with until you're ready, and we'll tell you that honestly instead of talking you into a replacement you don't need yet.
